What the model includes

We model building footprints as solid shapes at a single height on level ground. Source heights may themselves be estimates. Buildings without height information start at 20 feet; you can change them. Added obstacles use the height you supply.
Terrain, unmapped trees, roof shapes, window exposure, clouds, and buildings beyond the loaded area are not modeled. A bright area means no modeled building shadow, not guaranteed sunlight. Very low sun angles are marked uncertain.

Make the estimate useful
Check the map against the property. Move the pin to the exact outdoor spot, verify nearby heights, and draw important obstacles that are missing. Use the seasonal buttons to compare summer and winter.
Draw a tree's canopy footprint and supply its height for a simple solid-canopy estimate. This does not model leaves, gaps, or seasonal foliage. Your edits stay in this browser; copied location links do not include them.
